We are looking for caregivers to share personal caregiving stories in writing to help other caregivers, like you, feel less alone. These will be shared anonymously in our weekly 90Second Caregiver Newsletter, designed to provide caregivers with support in less than two minutes.
Each dispatch includes:
An introduction to a relevant topic for caregivers and their well-being
Actionable tips on the topic
A personal story (that's where you come in)
Programs and services that can help caregivers
A place for caregivers to provide feedback on the newsletter
What will be expected of me?
You'll be invited to write your own personal caregiving story in an email to our team.
Each caregiving story should communicate:
How long you have been a caregiver
What health condition the person you're supporting is experiencing
The challenges you face, and how you met those challenges based on the topic chosen below
One key takeaway for others to learn from
Select at least one of the following topics to write about: (example: circle of support - chosen family and caregiving)
Eating well for caregiving
Exercising and caregiving
How to deal with unexpected caregiver anger and aggression from your care recipient
Learning how to take time out as a caregiver
Balancing work and care as a caregiver
Caregiving and navigating crisis

If we share your personal caregiving story in our newsletter, you will be eligible for a $100 honorarium for your time and energy.
