On Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 12pm to 1pm, the Ontario Caregiver Organization (OCO) will be offering a webinar titled Hip Fracture Quality Standard: What Caregivers Should Know.
We are looking for one volunteer to participate in the webinar to share their experiences as a caregiver.
We are looking for caregivers to share experiences specifically focused on the challenges or stresses they have experienced related to hip fracture or preventing hip fracture, and the possible lessons they learned from these experiences. This is an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of prevention of hip fracture while helping other caregivers feel less isolated in the care they provide.
Honorarium for involvement: $100.00
What will be expected of me?
Approximately 4-5 hours of your time in April and May including:
Attending a virtual planning meeting in April or May 2026
Prepare your own story with support from OCO
Attending a 30-min “technology rehearsal” before the webinar, on Monday, May 11th at noon.
Attending/sharing your story and participating in a panel discussion during the webinar event (two hours including a quick pre/post meeting)
How do I participate?
If you are interested in participating in the webinar as a panelist, please email fional@ontariocaregiver.ca by April 22, 2026. We greatly value your insights and perspectives.
